ALMOST A BIG NIGHT/LOVE HURTS/BOYS AND THE BAND
After college Brenda and her director-husband, Michael, were hired as Artists-in-Residence in Greensboro where, they produced and performed avant-garde theatre. This successful venture led to additional grants and formation of the

In Los Angeles, Brenda studied with acclaimed acting coach, Peggy Fuery. During this time she continued to perform in theatre and expanded her credits into television and film.
In 1990, she turned her attention to writing and was hired as a staff writer for a CBS comedy series, "Big," based on the motion picture with Tom Hanks. From there she became a Story Editor for a syndicated series, "Shades Of L.A." where she wrote nearly one-third of the season.

REALITY CHECK/THE KEY TO SUCCESS
Josh followed his heart and dreams to The University of Southern California (the only school that would accept him) to pursue a B.A. in Creative Writing (fat lot of good that degree does anyone). AndrČ, a hometown boy, attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts (the only school that would
accept him) to pursue a B.F.A. in their Theatre program (fat lot of good that degree does anyone).
Shortly after college graduation, on an uncommonly moist afternoon in L.A., Josh and AndrČ were having a hot dog at Pink's on Melrose (Josh: Coleslaw Dog - AndrČ: Spicy Polish Dog), when they decided to collaborate on a teleplay. . .
Two years later they were done. Whew! Together they birthed a sixty-two page, eight and a half by eleven inch, one point one pound drama pilot, which they affectionately titled "M.I.C.A."(If there is anyone who would like to produce this script based on title alone, please contact their agent). Much to their delight this script was read by a young pitbull agent(we love you man!), and along with a Homicide spec (if there is anyone at Homicide who would. .) they were "in like Flynn" (or so they tried to convince themselves). The next thing they knew they were e-m-p-l-o-y-e-d at FAME L.A. The rest of their story is "to be written. . ."
For now their lives are indebted to their families, friends and all those who would read their material.

THE GURU/OF A CERTAIN AGE
Her first writing assignment was a dance movie for Paramount Pictures, where she discovered that the next best thing to dancing was writing about it. Following that, she landed an overall development deal with Warner Bros. Feature Animation, where she thoroughly enjoyed a year long stint writing for singing and dancing cartoons.
Next, diving headlong into television, Melissa has garnered credits that include: CLASS OF '96 (Story Editor), DR. QUINN: MEDICINE WOMAN (Story Editor), DARK SKIES (Exec. Story Editor), plus episodes of OUTER LIMITS and HERCULES: THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS. After having enjoyed such diverse writing experiences, everything from the sentimental to science fiction, she welcomes this return to her dance roots, though she remains forever envious of those who get to do the actual dancing.
