.	David Graysmark is the owner of "Who's Who," a club which he inherited and converted from a hotel. David teaches acting and mentors the young, up-and-coming performers who find their way to his classes and club. Older than the rest, he is a beacon of idealism and encouragement. He is fiercely dedicated to the "craft" and teaches actors to approach their work with integrity and selflessness. Although he keeps his personal dreams private, he is still trying to make it as an actor and hasn't given up hope. In over his head financially, he struggles to keep the club afloat. He is constantly at odds with Marcus who is always thinking of ways to market "Who's Who" in order to make an extra buck. David reluctantly agrees to a business partnership with his ex-girlfriend, who has hit the big time as a singer. Even though they have split, there is still a bond of mutual respect and love between them -- the sparks strong enough to potentially be rekindled.
