Stephanie Dicker portrays ambitious actress Reese Toussaint in FAME L.A. "Reese and I are similar in that we are both extremely goal-oriented and both try to achieve stardom," notes Dicker. "However, Reese tends to be a bit self-involved and manipulative, and says things that I would never dream of saying."

Unlike her character, Dicker landed acting roles in television and on commercials while she was in high school, and then left Los Angeles to continue her education. She hails from a family of lawyers and briefly considered becoming one herself. After graduating from Northwestern University, she instead decided to pursue her passion -- an acting and singing career.

In addition to FAME L.A., Dicker currently appears as recurring character Gina Williams in "General Hospital" and its soap spin-off, "Port Charles." Her acting credits also include numerous television guest starring roles, including "My So Called Life," "Married With Children," and "Boy Meets World," as well as a leading role in the feature film LAST RESORT with Dean Stockwell.

Now that she is in the enviable and unique position of juggling roles in three series, Dicker finally felt confident enough to quit her "day job" as a legal secretary. "It blew me away when I landed this role. I don't think I've fully realized the impact it has had on my life."

Dicker is a native of Los Angeles, where she resides with her new husband, who is, of course, a lawyer.
