Episode Directed by: Robert Ginty

You're only as good as your last role... Julie Joyce (DIANE DILASCIO) is publicly fired from a starring role in a Broadway musical. To add insult to injury, she is replaced by a significantly less talented, but sexier TV star. David (WILLIAM R. MOSES) and Marcus (ANDY MILDER) decide to treat her to dinner to cheer her up. As the evening winds down, Julie and David wind up rekindling an old romance.
At the same time, Lili, Reese and Liz (ROSELYN SANCHEZ, STEPHANIE DICKER, LESLI MARGHERITA) are invited to audition for a spot in a small, prestigious master dance class. Acceptance to the class becomes less about dance and more about getting that all-important credit on a resume. Lili, whose creativity is marred by fear, angrily accuses Reese and Liz of stealing the spotlight from real artists. The accusation causes a rift between them.
As Julie and David become more involved, it seems as though they may actually reunite. When a B-horror movie director tells Julie she's too old to star in one of his movies, she decides to bolster her bruised ego by putting together a one-woman-show at Who's Who.
Meanwhile, the three dancing divas are each having a difficult time coming up with creative material to present at the dance audition. The trio finally unites and decides to make a bold move. They perform an extremely offbeat version of Jean Genets "The Maids" -- together. Liz and Lili make it into the class, but Reese is shut-out. It's a role of the dice.
A well-known producer of Broadway musicals is on hand for Julie's performance, which clues David in to the fact that she's going back to New York -- again. They have an angry confrontation and both admit that she's never going to give up her career, and he's never going to give up Who's Who or his passion for teaching. It's an ending that they're both familiar with...only this time they're a little older and a little wiser.
